Intense Interest at Startup Investment Summit

The Startup Investment Summit, organized by in4startups, founded by Ahmet Sefa Bir and Şerafettin Özsoy, began on December 12th with online sessions that can be watched on YouTube, and will continue until December 16th. Entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate officials from many countries around the world are participating in the online webinars.

On Wednesday, December 14th, the physical event of the Startup Investment Summit will take place. The event will last all day and will be dedicated solely to entrepreneur presentations. Thirty-five startups, selected from a pool of 70 finalists across 14 categories from the Future Promising Entrepreneurs competition held in previous months, will have the opportunity to present to investors.

Each startup will have five minutes on stage to present. Investors interested in the startups will have the opportunity to have more detailed discussions with the entrepreneurs in separate private meeting rooms. Throughout the day, startup founders will have the chance to engage in both investment and B2B collaboration and sales discussions with high-level executives from many investment funds and corporate firms. Representatives from legal and financial advisory firms, partners of the competition, will be available to provide immediate consultation and start the investment process in case of a positive outcome.

As the startups on stage have already been finalists in the Future Promising Entrepreneurs competition, in4startups has initiated pre-discussions with corporate firms and investors for many of them. Therefore, many startups have already successfully concluded investment talks during this process. For startups with investment decisions made during the event, a signing ceremony will be held.

Additionally, during the event, the launch of TÜBİTAK Bigg+ mentoring program, a joint initiative of Istanbul Technical University A.Ş., Namık Kemal University Technology Development Zone Manager A.Ş., and Bursa Technical University Technology Transfer Office A.Ş., will also take place under the coordination of in4startups.

The event will begin at 9:30 am and end at 5:30 pm. As tickets have sold out, new registrations are not being accepted, but the video recordings of the startups' presentations will be broadcasted later on the YouTube channel.
