Excitement for Demoday at the Eastern Black Sea Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program on the 22nd

A acceleration program was launched with the support of a development agency for successful entrepreneurs following the Project Market conducted by Karadeniz Technical University Technology Transfer Application and Research Center.

The acceleration program, organized by in4startups, was specially designed for academic entrepreneurs.

During the acceleration program, which started on June 7, the 20 entrepreneurs accepted into the program received training in 7 different categories. Each week of the program, 8 seminars were held to share experiences and develop the culture of entrepreneurship in the region. During the program, 20 hours of business analysis were conducted, and entrepreneurs were connected with existing and potential customers. Entrepreneurs who met with potential customers had the opportunity to test the need for their products and projects in the market and collect feedback. In the program, which was supported by 35 different mentors, entrepreneurs received a total of 54 hours of mentoring. Matched one-on-one with valuable mentors from different fields such as chemistry, maritime, metal industry, health technologies, and software sector, entrepreneurs also performed product-market validation, customer nurturing, sample sending, and sales opportunities within the program.

In the last 2 weeks of the program, entrepreneurs worked on presentation skills and were subject to preliminary evaluations. After the preliminary evaluation, 11 entrepreneurs who qualified for the demoday had the opportunity to present to 10 different investors and investment networks at the presentation day event on August 17. The entrepreneurs' presentations were heard by investors and investment network representatives such as Doğukan Çetin from APY, Alperen Şarlayan from Fonbulucu, Abdurrahman Çam from Kültepe Yatırım, Şeyma Çiçek from Kalyon VC, Kenan Altun from Fonkolay, Buğra Metin from Tarvenn, Bilgehan Yalçınkayalar from TT Ventures, angel investor Orkun Beyaz and İrem Atay, as well as in4startups' Şerafettin Özsoy and Ahmet Sefa Bir.
