Startup Investor Ecosystem Comes Together in Bursa

The event “How to Become a Startup Investor?”, hosted by the Bursa, Eskişehir, Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA) and the digital entrepreneurship platform in4startups, was successfully held in Bursa. This special program, which took place on Wednesday, April 24, served as a valuable meeting point for entrepreneurs and investors.

Throughout the event, participants were provided with in-depth knowledge about startup investments, and investment processes were explained in detail through real-life case studies. Many expert speakers and startup investors shared their insights on successful past investments and how to build and maintain strong relationships between investors and entrepreneurs.

The program began with an opening speech by BEBKA executive Elif Boz Ulutaş, who introduced BEBKA’s entrepreneurship activities. Following this, Ahmet Sefa Bir, co-founder of in4startups, presented the innovative services they offer. Şerafettin Özsoy, Managing Partner at Asya Ventures, delivered a seminar titled “How to Become a Startup Investor?”.

The event concluded with a panel discussion presenting a case study of CoolREG, a Bursa-based startup that recently completed a successful investment round with the support of Asya Ventures and in4startups.
The panel featured CoolREG founder Mehmet Bülent Kula, Asya Ventures advisory board member and angel startup investor Emre Tonkuş, and Çiğdem G. Okkaoğlu, Partner at Günay Erdoğan Law Office.

The program also offered strong networking opportunities, allowing participants to connect with like-minded professionals and potential investors. The event contributed to strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Bursa and surrounding regions, and helped raise awareness among individual investors interested in startup investing.
